Shorts Group offers a full range of demolition services, taking down everything from small garden sheds and garages up to large industrial office blocks.
We pride ourselves on being able to offer a high level of service, from enquiry through to the handover of a completed job. We are committed to customer care. We regularly work to tight deadlines and thrive on challenges, but rest assured that our safety standards are some of the highest and we welcome visits from the Health and Safety Executive. We also realise we are the first people on site generally so every effort is taken not to unduly disturb the adjoining properties.
Our staff are experienced operators and continually trained. Our machinery fleet is comprehensive. The fleet is maintained and regularly updated as part of our machinery policy. These machines have a range of implements designed to make jobs as efficient and economic as possible which can work alongside some of the more tradional methods of recovering salvageable items.
The environment has been high on our agenda for some time. We recycle as much of the debris off site as possible, although not always possible.
We take pride in our high recycling rates on our sites and back at our waste transfer station. Materials like wood, hardcore, concrete and metal are recycled. Bricks, tiles and other salvageable items are removed where they have a value and sold at our salvage yard.
We cover an extensive area from Central London across to Swindon, up to north of Oxford and down on the coast to Southampton. Our demolition services are supported by our own skip department with over 20 lorries on the road.
