Shorts Group, Ltd wins Business of the Year Award

Shorts Group, Ltd is pleased to announce that is has won the prestigious Business of the Year Award for 2006 from the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead in the Borough's Community and Business Excellence Awards ceremony. Beating off stiff competition from respected local companies like FAST Ltd, Langland and Golfbreaks, Shorts Group was awarded the top prize for business by the Royal Borough at the Ascot Racecourse on Monday, 6 December 2006 by the Royal Bank of Scotland.
Managing Director of Shorts Group, Ltd, Gary Short accepts the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead's Business of the Year Award.
Managing Director Gary Short was thrilled with the award:

Shorts Group, Ltd is a family owned business, began in 1957 by David Short, who is still actively involved in the running of the business. Headquartered in Ascot in Royal Berkshire, Shorts Group provides comprehensive outdoor services throughout Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey and the surrounding counties. Now under the direction of David's son Gary, the company offers skip hire and plant hire, recycling and green composting services, demolition services, agriculture and sport turf services, a winter gritting service and, interestingly enough, helicopter hire.
