Shorts Group acquires Maidenhead based skip firm WLG Waste

Dedicated to providing the best service to its customers, Shorts Group Ltd expanded its holdings in East Berkshire again, acquiring WLG Waste in mid November 2006. WLG Waste was a skip hire company based in Maidenhead and serving the surrounding communities including Henley-on-Thames, Marlow and Slough.
Managing Director of Shorts Group, Gary Director, was positive about this new addition:
"Of course we are very excited about this important acquisition. We already have a strong client base in the Maidenhead area and with the addition of these new resources, we can build on this and provide an even better services to our clients in East Berkshire."
To improve efficiency, the Shorts Group will base its Maidenhead operations from its Marlow depot. General Manager of the Shorts Group, Mike Banham, explains:
"By working from our readily-accessible depot in Marlow, we can better meet the needs of our new and existing customers. The extra resources provided by the addition of WLG Waste will certainly play a key role in our efforts to be the best skip hire company in East Berkshire."
